Weeds of Australia – Biosecurity Queensland Edition
This excellent site has information on the identification, biology and control of over 1000 of Australia’s weeds, and involves a collaboration between the University of Queensland, Lucid, the Queensland Government and the former CRC for Weed Management.

Within this site, there are a number of ways of identifying Australian weeds, probably best by using the “weed identification tool” or else scrolling through the “weed search” if you think you know the name.
HerbiGuide Site
Although HerbiGuide is a commercial programme for determining which herbicide to use for controlling weeds in specific crops, they have made available on the internet free an earlier version of their very popular programme for download.
