Hillary Cherry
Hillary has been a member of the NSW Weeds Society since 2003. She is originally from Florida, where she obtained a Master’s degree in Botany from the University of Florida (UF) and worked with the UF Center for Aquatic and Invasive Plants on terrestrial weed research, applied management and weed risk assessment. She moved to Australia in 2002 and from 2005-2013, she coordinated the Weeds of National Significance (WoNS) programs for bitou bush, boneseed and asparagus weeds. She currently works in weed management policy, planning and coordination with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
